This Pet Nat somehow found it's color closer to the golden California sunset rather than ruby red of a basic rosé, giving it an amazing ability to blend into the sparkling field, before standing out with a dry and complex finish.
This Chenin is the product of one of those winemakers, Ernst Storm, and is the reason I can now say that I love both red and white wine. Very little has been done to the wine except what was necessary to feature the characteristics of the grape.
