What can I say, I have a wine crush on Andrew Jones.
He is the man behind Field Recordings, the Fabliest, and countless other ventures. It seems like he keeps creating these wines that cost less than $20 but taste more like $30.
This Cabernet is a bit of a loophole in our "California Wine Shop." This Cab is produced in Paso Robles, but is made with grapes from Washington. The result is a well-balanced red that steps away from the jammy and into the smooth and smokey. It is a great example of how regions make such a huge impact on the wine produced.
