What if you were on a road trip and saw a town with your family name? You'd have to stop! But just for pictures and stories...Right??
So, that is what Kevin and KathySkinner did when they saw Skinner, CA on a map. They stopped for fun...but what they found was a lost family wine legacy that was started great-great-grandfather during the Gold Rush.
Fast forward a bit and the Skinner family bought the land where their family started making wine and re-established vineyards and a winery. Since then, they have been producing outstanding 90+ pt wines from the Sierra Foothills. We are excited to be offering this red blend from their lineup, especially because we get to say "Smithereens" a lot now.
Wine Varietal Red Blend 51% Grenache | 31% Mourvedre | 12% Syrah | 5% Counoise | 1% Petite Sirah
