It's "Super Tuscan" upside down... Watson style.
In a nod to our love for Italian culture, we've combined grapes from our plot of Sangiovese with the best of our Cabernet Sauvignon to create a playful take on a traditional Super Tuscan. With an inverted ratio of 81.5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 18.5% Sangiovese, we are calling it a SUPERWATSON. Because in true Watson fashion, we find joy in the unexpected.
This blend has aromatics of cranberry and apricot custard pastry with notes of wild blackberry. Great tannins will allow this wine to age gracefully.
Harvested in September 2021, this wine was barrel aged in French Oak for 24 months. Only 23 cases were produced.
