Do you know what is in your wine? To make wine the scale and price many people are now used to, producers have to get creative. This includes adding extra ingredients that can include Calcium Carbonate, Dried swim bladders of fish, and chemicals like Acetaldehyde ( known cause of headaches.)
Brix and Barrel believes in simple ingredients, some of us even dabble in eating vegan… nothing serious and yes… our parents know. The wine industry is made up of a few secrets and one of them is that most of the wine on the grocery store shelf and even sold online comes from less than 10 producers. Yup, 10. These large producers and limited shelf space make it nearly impossible for small producers to get to you, until now.
